Absolutely loved the grilled steaks at the hotel restaurant – proper tasty! The breakfast spread was top-notch too, with plenty to chow down on. Plus, the staff rolled out the red carpet for us, making our stay feel warm and inviting.
This hotel would have been a ten if not for a couple of hiccups, like the shower being a bit stiff to adjust and the wait for drinks was longer than a queue at a bus stop on a rainy day.

Solo traveler’s decent experience
Had a solid time here, the staff were really friendly which made all the difference. One evening, Ruth served me dinner, and her professionalism stood out, she handled my order with such care and speed, felt like I was in good hands.
It wasn’t exactly a budget-friendly stay but it was acceptable.

The location was perfect for family outings, close to landmarks like the Spinnaker Tower and Historic Dockyards. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The staff was very attentive, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like welcoming snacks each evening.
In my wife’s opinion, the parking fee was a bit unexpected. it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities available in the hotel itself.

The traditional English breakfast was impressive with a great selection that satisfied all ages in the family. The clean and spacious rooms contributed to a comfortable experience. parking is an additional £3 per night, which seemed inconvenient, and the pool area was smaller than expected. It's also worth noting that dining options nearby are limited, requiring a ten-minute drive for alternatives.

Longer wait times for room service would be beneficial.

missingWrote a review on 28 Julclean roomgood gympleasant staffmixed-up billingslow servicepoor food
The food at the hotel restaurant was decent but had quality issues. The chicken skewers I tried were overcooked and dry. The bar snacks didn't impress either, with burnt brioche served with my pâté. The check-in process was efficient, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. My room was clean, though I only found one bath towel and no coffee pods for the machine. Hairs were also found in the shower. The staff seemed overwhelmed, especially at the bar where service was slow and they lacked product knowledge. I also had a mix-up at checkout where part of someone else's bill was added to mine, which was not ideal.

We spent a night here and absolutely loved the giant, comfy bed in our room and the delicious food at dinner! The pool area was super inviting, perfect for unwinding, and we also enjoyed some quiet time in the beautiful garden. Just a heads up, we found the price of a standard bottle of wine a bit steep, but it didn't spoil our stay at all. 🍷
